The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) originated as Women in Construction of Fort Worth, Texas. It was founded in 1953 by sixteen women working in the construction industry.
The Tulsa Chapter was chartered in 1963 and joins over 115 other chapters throughout the United States to advocate for the value and impact of women builders, professionals and tradeswomen in all aspects of the construction industry.
